Aura is one of the most precious red wines (M.S.B. Somms & Vineyard) made in the renowned Designation of Origin Montsant, inside Priorat county.
The wine comes from the vineyards of different “Finques” within the villages of Capçanes, El Masroig and Els Guiamets, with vines ranging the age of 20 to 30 years old and from the grape variety Red Grenache.
After a hand-picked selected harvest and a following controlled alcoholic fermentation, Aura is aged in 300L French Oak Barrels and separately, a small part in a 900L Concrete Egg prior to doing the final blend.
Aura is a full-bodied red wine that perfectly represents the Mediterranean soul of this variety.
