Falezze Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso Red Wine

The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC 2015 is a natural red wine produced in the Falezze land (in Mezzane, Verona, Italy) around the cellar. This wine is obtained from a second fermentation on Amarone skins.

Falezze winery take personally care of their vineyards in every agronomic phase and they collect the grapes in boxes only when they reach the polyphenological ripeness.

In October and November they dry they grapes (Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella) naturally without the need for dehumidifiers and in December they vinify them without the use of chemicals.

The refinement of the wine lasts about 1 year in new French 500-liter barrels. The Falezze wines are bottled using individually checked Cork Supply DS100 closures. They also cover the corks with shellac in order to guarantee integrity and correct humidity of the cork.
